Reform of indebtedness resulting from the Act of July 1, 2010 , came into force on 1 November 2010.

A decree No. 2010-1304 dated October 29, 2010 came complete this legislation fundamentally changing the process of indebtedness.

This long decree makes significant changes to the regulatory part of the Consumer Code relating to indebtedness.

The objective of this reform is to accelerate and simplify the conduct of the proceedings.
